Dublin Academic Teaching Hospitals (DATHS)
utilising common Business Intelligence Tools

The Dublin Academic Teaching Hospitals are utilising advanced Business Intelligence tools to enhance the availability and usability of critical information.

The Hospitals utilise a wide range of different computer systems and databases which together contain a wealth of information on patient activity, resource utilisation, patient treatment, financial data, etc.

Traditionally this information was not easy to access and it required
technical skills to extract and summarise this information into a printed form for users in the Hospital. By the time this happened much of the information was not current and only of limited use.

For the information to be practically useful for key people in the Hospital it has to be available when, where and how a user needs it.

This has now become possible in the Hospital Group with the introduction of the Health Diver Solution from Manitex.

Currently the Health Diver Solution is utilised in Beaumont Hospital, St.James's Hospital, the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital and St. Vincent's University Hospital.
